My first charity event: Vintage and Secondhand clothes sale

In November 2014 I'll be trekking 100 miles in 6 days, 10,000 ft above sea level in Peru, South America to raise money and awareness for Addaction, the UK's leading addiction charity. 6 years a go my dad died of addiction related illness and I wanted to do something to try and make a difference. So I set myself the task of raising £4000 and pushing myself to the limits and as I'm not a very physical person, I thought this trek would be the perfect way of doing it. 

In order to raise this money I'm hosting a series of charity events including vintage and secondhand clothing sales, with clothes donated from all over the country. My first event was on 24 May and in total I raised £450! 

There was live music, cakes, more clothes and accessories than you could shake a stick at and lots of little auctions and events throughout the day. There was such a great atmosphere and all the musicians were absolutely spot on! Musicians included: Michael Mullinger, Annabel Allum, Shaun O'Reilly, Sonata Kay, Michael Bush, Luke Carey and Clarissa Felix. So a huge big up to you all!

The next event is on the 19th July at The Boogaloo Pub in Highgate, there's going to be more vintage, more second hand and lots more designer at extremely cheap prices. Nothing is priced higher than £15.00 and the majority is under a fiver. You can also expect lots of great music and a great crowd. All the money goes to Addaction and my cause and at such great prices for such amazing clothes, including brand new clothes from ASOS, you'd be a real fool to miss out!
