Avenue Mews: Muswell Hill London
12:57
If you ever pay Muswell Hill a visit, you'll be greeted by a twee little high street with a mixture of independent butchers and bakeries, teamed up with a spattering of designer boutiques and delis. It's the idyllic London every American fantasises about, a Richard Curtis wet dream.
However, behind the flocks of clucking mothers pushing designer prams, Muswell Hill cradles London's worst kept secret: Avenue Mews. Avenue Mews is a cluster of vintage shops, an art gallery/ cafe with tonnes of charm. Each business is lovingly run by people who adore what they do. Cha Cha Cha Vintage, one of the shops, is run by two lovely ladies called Ruth & Megan and has a wonderful mixture of clothing and vintage home ware.
Whilst living in North London I've discovered all kinds of exciting treats, all of them have never been that good for my bank balance but heck! I've bought some awesome vintage bits and bobs from this place. Every business has items to suit every purse size, so whether you're looking for a beautiful vintage gown, or something a little more low key, Avenue Mews is worth the trip.
