I'm not exactly breaking the mould by blogging about Columbia Road's gorgeous lower market, but it was the first time I'd visited since moving to London and it was really rather wonderful so I wanted to share a couple of the photos I took.

Columbia Road is about a 10-15 minute walk from the East End's famous Brick Lane and Spitalfields markets, all you have to do is head east. Take a walk down Bethnal Green Road, then take a left onto Barnet Grove which will get you straight there. Open on a Sunday, Columbia Road is the perfect way to enjoy your much deserved time off and the flowers are a bargain so you can rival the Chelsea Flower Show with ease.
