Soho to Primrose in a day
09:21
For a complete amateur the Fuji Fine Pix Bridge is simple to use, has plenty of easy to see settings, has a wonderful macro setting, 30x zoom and can take panoramic photos. As I'm no camera expert I'm guessing a lot of you, who may know cameras better than I, are giggling at my newbie-dome, as I find these features wonderfully exciting! It takes some really great photos and is pretty much dummy proof which is great for beginners. It can also shoot video too!
I'm always up for some tips and advice on how to improve my photos and what equipment I should get to help me on my way photographic perfection, so if I'm doing something dreadful give me a shout it'll be good to have a fabulous photography brain onboard!
I was fortunate enough this weekend to have my old housemates from university come to visit me for the day in London. We only see each other maybe once a year, so when we do, we cram as much as we can in to the time we have! Here's what happened.
10:00AM: THE DINER ON SHAFTESBURY AVENUE FOR BREAKFAST
11:30am FROM PICCADILLY TO OXFORD CIRCUS
1:00pm Camden and Primrose Hill. We spent our whole afternoon hiking up Primrose Hill to get a great view of the city as well as drinking cider by Camden Lock and enjoying some cake at Miss Poppy's Cakes.
Mary Portas' Living and Giving charity shop in Primrose Hill sells donated designer clothes at extremely affordable prices and as it's in an affluent area the donations are cracking! Absolutely worth a look!
Saturday's London was full of great food, loads of walking and finding new exciting parts of my local area. There are so many hidden gems that you just don't take full advantage of as a local and I highly recommend becoming a Saturday tourist and going on your own adventure.
