Flat Iron: Soho

09:07

For a £12.50 steak dinner you can't go wrong.

Flat Iron in Soho has all the potential to be embarrassingly pretentious however on this front... I was left sorely disappointed. The food and vibes were wicked and for £12.50 you not only get a perfectly cooked, succulent piece of meat but you can add fries or any side you like, including creamed spinach and fries for just £2.50. Including two cocktails, a steak and some epic chips I paid £21.00. Not bad for Central London.

You can't book ahead of your visit, as more and more restaurants seem to be doing these days and the wait can be a bit sketchy at times, but at 6:30pm on a Wednesday night we only waited about 25 minutes whilst enjoying some wine and cocktails in the underground bar. Service was speedy and the waitress - super friendly so, all in all go team Flat Iron!

A great tip for this place too is to try and get there as soon as you can after work - Happy Hour starts from 6ish (I say ish because I can't properly remember... I wonder why) and all their delicious drinks are super cheap. Lets just put it this way, 4 glasses of wine and 2 cocktails came to about £16 - what an absolute bargain.
